Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MiniLog, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

App Description and Purpose

MiniLog is a baby feeding tracking application that allows you to log feeding and pumping data to your own Google Sheets. The app is designed as a personal productivity tool for parents.

User Data Ownership

Your Data Belongs to You

  • Complete Ownership: All feeding and pumping data entered into MiniLog belongs entirely to you
  • No Developer Access: We cannot access, view, modify, or control your data
  • Direct Storage: Your data is stored directly in your Google Sheets, not on our servers
  • Export Freedom: You can export, modify, or delete your data at any time
  • No Data Lock-in: Your data remains accessible even if you stop using MiniLog

Data Responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy and management of your data
  • You are responsible for backing up your data through Google's services
  • You are responsible for managing access permissions to your Google Sheets

No Service Commitments

No Availability Guarantees

  • No Uptime Promises: We provide no guarantees about app availability or functionality
  • No Service Level Agreements: There are no commitments regarding response times or bug fixes
  • No Support Obligations: Support is provided on a best-effort basis with no guaranteed response times

App Discontinuation

  • Right to Discontinue: We reserve the right to discontinue MiniLog at any time without notice
  • No Migration Services: If the app is discontinued, we are not obligated to provide data migration tools
  • Your Data Remains Safe: Since your data is stored in your Google Sheets, it remains accessible even if MiniLog is discontinued
  • No Compensation: No refunds or compensation will be provided if the app becomes unavailable

Disclaimer of Warranties

"As-Is" Provision

MiniLog is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of data
  • Warranties regarding compatibility with your devices or other software

Medical Disclaimer

  • MiniLog is NOT a medical device or medical advice tool
  • The app is for personal tracking purposes only
  • Always consult healthcare professionals for medical advice regarding your baby's feeding
  • We are not responsible for any medical decisions made based on data tracked in MiniLog

Limitation of Liability

No Liability for Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Device damage or malfunction
  • Any damages arising from your use or inability to use MiniLog
  • Any issues related to Google's services or changes to their APIs
  • Any damages from app bugs, crashes, or data corruption

Maximum Liability Cap

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for MiniLog (which is $0 for the free version).

Third-Party Services

Google Services Dependency

  • MiniLog depends on Google's services (Sheets API, Sign-In, Drive API)
  • We are not responsible for changes, outages, or discontinuation of Google's services
  • Your relationship with Google is governed by Google's terms and policies
  • We cannot guarantee continued compatibility with Google's services

No Control Over Third Parties

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for third-party services, websites, or content accessed through MiniLog.

User Responsibilities

Appropriate Use

You agree to:
  • Use MiniLog only for its intended purpose of tracking feeding data
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or hack the app
  • Not use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purposes

Account Security

  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify Google immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

Intellectual Property

MiniLog is released under the Apache License 2.0. You have the rights granted by that license, but:
  • You may not use our trademarks without permission
  • You may not claim ownership of the MiniLog name or brand
  • Commercial distribution requires compliance with the Apache License
